Day 5: Day of Rest

I started this morning early as usual. 6am here=7am back home in Mass. I got up, had my obscenely small cup of coffee ( only 8oz! and yes mum I finished the whole cup). Today, although sunny was cold ( granted not as cold as Mass.) but I was still glad I packed my winter coat and boots. I journeyed to a place called german town and found civilization! Trader Joe’s! Whole Foods! Hobby Lobby! SMOOTHIE KING!! After I calmed myself down with a medium mango smoothie (my favorite!) I traversed into the largest Trader Joe’s I had ever seen! Ok, so the one in Hanover is always packed and is probably not that small in retrospect but still. Groceries in hand I made it back to my temporary home. I made a quick, although you’d never know it after tasting it, chicken soup in honor of grammy ( I had left over rotisserie chicken in the fridge). Per usual when I cook, I turn on Julia Child. Dont despair! I listen to Pavarotti when I cook italian.
